Privacy Policy

The Nuts Prague (“we”, “us”) is a private home poker club based in Prague. This website is used to share club information, events, rules, gallery content, and — for signed-in members — leaderboards, player stats, hall of fame records, and event results.

Depending on how you use the site, we may process:

• Account details — email address and password (passwords are handled by our authentication provider; we do not store plaintext passwords), plus an invite code used at sign-up.
• Profile role — whether your account is a member or admin.
• Club game data — player names/nicknames, attendance, finishing positions, scores, medals, and related tournament statistics entered by club hosts/admins.
• Content you or admins upload — for example gallery or merchandise images stored for display on the site.
• Technical session data — authentication session information kept in your browser so you stay signed in, and an admin session cookie when an admin uses the site editor.

We do not sell products or take payments on this website. Merchandise links go to external shops, which have their own privacy practices.

• To create and manage member accounts (invite-only sign-up).
• To show members club leaderboards, stats, awards, and past event results.
• To publish public club pages such as home, events listings, rules, gallery, and merch links.
• To let admins edit club content and record tournament results.
• To keep the site secure and working (authentication, access control).

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, we process personal data where needed to run the club website and member accounts (legitimate interests of operating a private club site), to perform the membership relationship you enter when you create an account, and where required for security. Game results and nicknames are processed as part of club operations that members join voluntarily.

We use infrastructure providers to host the site and authentication. In particular, account and content data may be processed by Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and our hosting provider (for example Vercel). They process data on our instructions to provide those services.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the club, members, or the site.

• Authentication session data is stored in your browser (via our auth provider) so you remain logged in.
• Admins may receive a session cookie for the content editor.
• We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.

Leaderboard, Player Stats, Hall of Fame, detailed event results, and player profile pop-ups are available only to signed-in users. Guests can still view public pages such as Home, Events (limited), Rules, Gallery, and Merchandise.

Account and club statistics are kept while the club operates this website and while they remain relevant to club history, unless we agree to delete or anonymise them sooner where reasonably possible. You may ask us to review deletion of your account email via the Facebook group contact above.

Subject to applicable law (including GDPR where it applies), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, or object to certain processing. Contact us through the Facebook group. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

This site is intended for adults participating in the club. It is not directed at children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
